Welsh soccer player Aaron Ramsey has boosted the reward for leads regarding his missing canine named Halo to fifteen thousand pounds.

The former Arsenal and Cardiff player, who currently plays for the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, revealed that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state region.

The beagle, who went missing on 9 October, was wearing a tracking device, and Ramsey shared a exact coordinates of where she was last seen.

"Any updates about our beloved Halo please contact us. Substantial incentive for locating her. We are all praying she is unharmed and will return with us soon," Ramsey shared on Instagram.

Initial Reward and Heartfelt Appeals

The footballer first announced that his dog had disappeared a fortnight back and has since uploaded numerous photos of the adored dog on Instagram.

A $ten thousand dollar reward was initially provided, but with no news on the dog's whereabouts after a seven days, the player and his family raised the reward.

"All we desire is Halo back," he stated in a further appeal on social media after the elderly dog was lost.

A recent photograph upload is a monochrome photo of the beagle snoozing, its head resting in the bend of Ramsey's arm, with the description: "How I wish to cuddle you again sweet Halo."

Household's Concerns and Background

The footballer has also posted a statement from his spouse Colleen on online channels indicating they have several "important questions" about the incident and fear the household "may never get explanations".

"To this day we haven't found Halo. I fear we ever will," the spouse's post read.

The Welsh skipper joined Mexico's premier club Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and made his first appearance in the Mexican league in August.
